The biggest gap in life is where you are and where you want to be. A New Normal can set you apart from your competitors, get you a promotion, get that big sale, or take you wherever you want to go.
What is a New Normal? It's setting the bar higher, expecting more and doing more with your time. It's taking advantage of what we can do each day and being intentional about it. Maybe its getting up earlier or staying up later. Maybe its eating something you never thought you would eat before. Maybe its a certain habit that you should start or stop!
The Rock. The man. One of the best entertainers in the world with one of the craziest schedules. But its normal for him, and nobody else. Its his New Normal. It's not normal to wake up 3AM every day. Its not normal to be an as many movies as has been in a span of a year. Its not normal to be in the best shape of his life at age 45. I guess its also not normal to be worth 125 Million dollars.
The Greatest Cellist of all time. Born in 1876, Casals was/is known as the greatest Cello player of all time. Casals lived until he was 97 years old. A reporter once asked him at age 93 "why are you still playing your cello at age 93?"
He simply responded, "practicing to get better."
He was already known as the greatest cellist of all time. He didn't need to practice, he didn't need to play, but he created a new normal by setting up practice routines at age 93 to continue to get better.
Is a 4X Crossfit Games Champion, and known as the fittest man on Earth.
- It's not normal to workout 5-8 times a day.

Sometimes, some people and some environments steer us away from being different. Sometimes they try and make us do whats "normal." Ditch normal and find your normal. Find a New Normal that is going to close the gap from where you are and where you want to go.
