What Does It Take To Be A Great Teammate?
In Carol Dwecks book 'Mindset' she tells the story of Diana Nyad - the women who holds the record for Open Water Swimming. The record was 60 miles and she ended up swimming 102.5 miles. Although swimming seems to be an individual sport - she had 51 people to help her accomplish this amazing feat. She had numerous amounts of trainers, divers, and guides on the day she broke the record. Her name is forever in the record book but she couldn't have won if it wasn't for all the help she received.
You will never reach your full potential without tapping into the knowledge of others. Without great teamwork, you can never reach your ultimate dedication. You can never reach your dreams and you certainly can't help anyone reach theirs. Teamwork is the foundation of successful businesses, sports teams, relationships, and families. Teamwork is everywhere we go and it's something we often forget. We are so focused on the finish line but we lose focus that building something great happens off teamwork.

Don't let one bad teammate into your group as they can progressively become a cancer with a negative attitude and poor judgement. The information we attain such as; resources, ideas, encouragement, and opportunities come from other poeple. Focus on surrounding yourself with people who heighten these. Success and achievement come from collective thoughts, not just a single brain.
